Re: black shoe marks on plastic
i used to work at a car dealership. we had some foaming carpet cleaning that was also sort of an all purpose. That and a stiff bristled brush got the job done. Have you tried letting in apc sit for a little and then scrubbing gently. There are also some spray leather cleaners i've used that work equally as well on plastic parts. Just do a little experimenting.
Peace

Re: black shoe marks on plastic
If APC isn't working to completely remove the scuff marks then you going to need to find a way to encourage them to come off.
It's transferred material off your shoes and it's going to take a combination of the right chemical and some elbow-grease behind a brush or scrubbing pad of some time.
Maybe try some Goo-Gone?

Re: black shoe marks on plastic
Hate to say it but Armor All wipes work well for this and really dirty textured plastic. It's the only non-Megs product I use except for some free stuff I get from Kent (mainly wheel cleaner and tire dressings).

Another thumbs up for the Magic Eraser
