I just bought a 1969 VW Fastback. It's in pretty good shape but the interior is really dirty. Any recommendations for the cleaning the headliner, carpet, and seats? The interior is white and the original seats are VW leatherette. Thoughts? -Kevin

Re: Interior Detail
Any pics would help.
You definately are going to want to look into APC or APC+, and a some kind of protectant.
You can look up some threads for the Little Green Machine, or LGM, which is popular for interior cleaning of personal cars.
The headliner is the roughest to clean, because you cant get it wet. Just have to dab around with your cleaner and then a damp cloth as best you can over a few days, letting it dry as you go.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Interior Detail
Okay,
You are going to want
- Meg's All Purpose Cleaner (APC)
- Meg's Quik Interior Detailer (QID)
A little Green Machine + APC works well on carpet
For Leather Your have a few options. APC works on them but you will need a Conditioner as well
Meg's has a few gold glass leather products that work great.
For the Windows: Meg's Glass Cleaner Concentrate!
PlastX works great on The Gauge Shield and other Stereo Displays
ScratchX works well on the wood/painted Trim and Center Console areasMatt
