Hi:
I have a number of polishing pads that have been used with 80. They are all in great condition and I would like to be able to continue to use them. After use I wash all my pads with Dawn, so they are as clean as you can get it. I known this is not recommended by Meguair's but it works for me. Never had a problem.
I have not made the change to any of the newer products yet, super micro abrasive technology.
Will I be able to use these polishing pads with the new products? For example, I would like to use M205 on a pad that has been previously used with 80. Guess I should mention that this will be with a DA, no rotary work.
What kind of problem would switching polishes cause?
