Thanks. I got tired of waiting for someone at Brinkmann. Over 30 minutes on hold after an initial recording.

I wanted to find out how much their shipping was and if and where I could get it near Clearwater, Florida. Pepboys is across the bay and I don't plan on making a trip to Tampa any time soon. There are Advance Auto, AutoZone, etc, near me, Walmart, Ace, etc.

I'm thinking of picking up two and wondered if they will charge me twice the shipping or ship together for the price of one. Think I'll shoot them an email and see if I have better results with customer service.

That's what I figured. I'll have to wait to get the nozzle and foam gun to see what I really need, I guess. Looking forward to foaming our two trucks!

Check ebay in a few days. My Gilmoure will be on cheap, used once. Just bought it, used it once, and thought it was garbage. Cute toy, great for kids to wash their bicycles, but not for real auto detailers. (and I don't consider myself anywhere near as particular as some of you fellows) The soap either dripps off or dries on the paint before you get to it. Just my experience..."your mileage may vary".

Already ordered one as I indicated in a previous post, but it hasn't arrived yet. I was excited about my purchase until I read this. Thanks for raining on my parade! lol Hope I find it works better for me than yours did for you. Not sure why anyone would buy it after your review?

opinions will vary. Some will like it, some wont. It is the nature of the beast.

I bought the one off ebay. Havent even opened up the box yet, and it has been sitting there for over a month
looking forward to at least trying it out and giving my assessment

EDIT: Meant to say I bought it off amazon.com, along with the DP extreme foam wash or something like that. But still havent opened it up yet. Looking forward to trying it out to see if it is worthwhile.

I'll have mine this week and will also give it a good test and post the results with pics. Mine and my wife's vehicles are covered with pollen and oak debris. Should make for some good before/after shots.

Its not a miracle product... just a different way to get soap on the car. Some like it, some dont.

Hey, I'm sorry. didn't mean to mess up the parade. It was just my opinion as another poster has said. I also bought the DP Extreme Foam and mixed according to the directions and used various settings and it was not what I expected. Then I doubled the DP, and then I got some real foam. The problem for me was to get some decent foam, I used nearly 1/4 of the DP. At $15.00 a bottle, what I get only four washes?? Rather use an ounce or so of Megs Gold Class in a bucket. Also, as mentioned, the foam ran off more than I expected and dried quickly before it could be washed off. Ok..black car in the sun but only around 50 degrees. What would it do in the summer. Anyway, please don't be turned off the foamer by my comments...you might like it. To quote an old line "Some like it hot, some like it cold". Some pat their cars dry, some use a leaf blower.

I was just razzin' ya! No problem. I got mine today so tomorrow I'll know whether I agree with you and will ship it back or keep it. Sorry it didn't work for you. Why didn't you send yours back for a refund?

Re: Gilmour Foam Gun... the first use -

Got my Gilmour foam gun, tried it out, not bad! Better than what I was using...nothing! Forgot to take before photos but I'm sure most know what Oak pollen looks like...and this truck was covered! Completely gold. It rinsed off great with my fire hose nozzle (Carrand 90051 w/shut off $9.73 on Amazon) and the water beaded from the spray detailer I used two weeks ago. Really didn't need foaming, I could have just wiped with detailing spray, but I had to try out my new toy.

Here's the photos I promised. The foam did seem to want to run off kind of quickly, but I washed the truck with two buckets and mf mitt so quickly it was not really a problem. I had it on the second from highest foam setting (6 oz / gal) and filled the quart cup 1/3 full so it used soap fast, for sure. But I got the entire truck in foam before it ran out of soap. I used some over the counter soap (RainX) so maybe a higher quality soap especially for foaming will cling better?

Considering this gun was only $39.02 I don't see how I went wrong.

                          For your perusal...

Probably would be similar... The foam just seems to give a little extra cling time to catch the suds on the panel and wash, rather than it all running straight off on me.

So is the 55 model just the new version of is it something completely different? I see that the 95 model has a dial to fine tune your foam desire. Maybe looking to pick one up. I have a 5 yr old who would love this toy.
