    Hey everyone,

I just ordered some 105 and 205 from ADS yesterday. I was wondering when both products are used on the DA how much product is everyone using. I have heard 4 pea size blops all the way up to a full circle around the pad. I was just wondering so I can possible be a bit ahead of the learning curve when I finally get the products and get a break in the weather to use them. The 105 that I got is the DA aprroved formula. Thanks in advance.

About a Quarter Size for each on a 2x2
They are both for the DA on Polishing Pads.
It is the Best Combo for DA in my Opinion!!

I find that you don't have to use as much M205 compared to other polishes.

Once the pad had some product on it and a section was completed, the next section did not require as much product as normal - only four pea sized dots.

M105 requires just about the same amount as normal polishes - M83, M80, etc.

I'm sorry to be a bit off topic. I'm about to purchase 105 & 205 and some new pads. Can I use 105 with w8006 and 205 with w9006, or which pad do I use for which? I could also buy the new 2.0 pads I but then I have to also get new backing plate and that would cost an extra $20 bucks. Thanks for your help everyone.

The way that i hear it use 105 with a 8006/8207 polishing pad when being used with the DA Polisher. @05 can be used with either a 8006/8207 polishing pad or a 9006/9207 finishing pad. Use the finishing pad with the 205 after you have used 105 to make the paint really pop.

Remember, you can prime the pad with QD before applying the polish. This should cut down on the amount of product that is soaked up into the pad.

With M105 my personal preference is to shoot 1 spray of 50/50 Last Touch/Water onto the pad, then work it in by hand, then add the M105.

I do this occasionally with other products as well, but not always.

Also, try not to do it more than 1 or 2 times with one pad, or you can start to make a mess. I just do it at the start to avoid a totally dry pad from touching the paint.

                          Re: 105 and 205

I'm sure there are right ways and wrong ways to do things like priming the pad. I'm not sure where my method fits into those, but it has worked very well for me. I learned this from Kevin Brown, and have not looked back since trying it.

What I do is use the product I'm going to be using to prime the pad. I take the product I'm going to be using, and pour it over the pad. Then take my hand, and work that into the pad. What I'm trying to achieve is pad saturation with the product I'm using. No quik detailers, only the product. After I saturate the pad, I take a towel and remove the excess product out of the pad. Then start using it.

Kevin Brown posted this somewhere, with pictures. but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I never use anything else anymore.

Looks like it! Scroll down a bit on that topic, and there are pictures.
