  • Quik Detailer changing colour?

    Hi all,

This is a bit of an odd question, but is it normal for there to be variation in the colour and smell of different bottles of the same Quik Detailer? I've got two bottles of it, one is about a month old while I just bought the other. I happened to notice that the detailer in the older bottle is much bluer and stronger smelling than the new Quik Detailer.

Sorry if this is silly to ask, but what might cause this?

It's possible there can be light variations in color between batches but the norm would be uniform color between batches.

Chances are very high there's nothing wrong with the product as we make as sell a ton of Quik Detailer since 1981 and it's a product with a very long, successful and consistent history of performance.

IF in doubt, contact Customer Care at 1-800-347-5700

Have you tried using both of them?

Quik Detailer has been around a long time...

      Trigger Wash

In 1981 Meguiar's introduced Trigger Wash as a new product for removing light dust, fingerprints and smudges in-between regular washing and waxing. The idea behind this new product was to provide enthusiasts with a quick and easy way to maintain their car's finish by simply misting the product onto the paint, spreading it around and then wiping the residue off to give their car that just detailed look.

Thanks for the fast reply! I've used both; I've nearly finished the blueish one. The previous few I've bought and used were stronger smelling and bluer than the new one I just got.

Here's a picture of the difference colours:
