    Hi Fabio,

I moved your post out of an existing thread and created a dedicated thread for your questions. It's usually best this way as it keeps the discussion focused on your topic alone.

Before recommending which products to use in which order, you say the front clip of the GM Astra has been repainted?

What are you wanting to do?

    Buff out the entire car?
Buff out the front clip? (the fresh paint)
Buff out everything but the front clip. This is usually done to make the paint on the rest of the car look as good as the *new* paint on the front clip.

Also, are you doing any wet-sanding?

And since this is your first post to our forum,

    Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

Whatever it is you end up using, the most important thing to do first is a Test Spot.

Test out your pad, product and "your skill level" to one small spot on the hood and see what you get. Make sure you can make one small area look good with your process before going over the entire car.

If you're not getting the results you want from your test spot you can come back here and tell us what you're seeing and we'll do our best to help you tweak your technique until we see you through to success....
