  • Asking for M06 Cleaner Wax tips

Hi, I am just wondering how to apply M06 and when I need to remove it.
As it shows "Clean" & "Wax", I do not know if I need to use apply it as a polish application technique or wax application technique. Do I need to wait until it is breaking down? Do I need to polish it until it is almost dry? Do I need to wait for 15 minutes after I apply it?

    Thanks

I apply cleaner waxes as I would in polishing paint. Work it in and let the cleaning part do it's job, then let the wax cure and wipe off, do a swipe test and make sure it's ready to be removed. Then I top off with the wax of the day.....

      Thank You very much.

By the way... DO I need to use 8006 or 9006 pad in order to get the highest shiny result!

      Anyone has different tips?

Remember besides the product, your application material, that is the type of applicator pad or machine buffing pad you use, the type of application material can make a product more or less aggressive.

You can also control how aggressive a product is by working it aggressively or gently.

So for a finish in really bad condition work the M06 a little heavier or wetter and invest some extra time really working the paint.

For a finish in fairly good condition apply more gently.

Always allow a cleaner/wax to fully dry before removing. Avoid getting any M06 on black plastic or rubber trim.

        Shake well before using.

Least aggressive first and do a test spot. I typically use an 8 series pad as the reason I would use a cleaner wax is to get rid of MILD swirls (cleaner waxes are pretty mild). I used a 9 series pad but did not get the results I was after (in my test spot of course) then moved up to the 8 series.

Test spots gets your process dialed in so you don't do the car and step back and not like the results.
