I also have the black Craftsmen rubber hose with a lifetime warranty. The only hose I will ever have to buy!
      Hey Scott,

      Is this the hose?

A couple of the reviews were saing that it gets your hands black from the rubber residue. Might be anoying when you use it to wash the car.

I will go check them out. I need a new hose and nozzle.

I think my NeverKink has a lifetime warranty as well. I like it, very heavy gauge hose.

Also, does anyone have the stainless steel version of the fireman hose thing? There is one made from aluminium, the other from stainless steel.

Autopia has the stainless steel nozzle. Is this what you were looking for?

            Re: Need new Nozzle

We have a Craftsman hose, not sure the model, but a green one that supposedly never kinks, can be driven over, etc.

The only two things is does it kink and p*** us off, not always in that order.

Its also very heavy, which would be fine if it worked, but it doesnt, so it makes for another annoyance. Not sure it will survive the summer....

                Hey stranger!

Nope, I have this one... http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...9603000P?mv=rr

I couldn't find the one I have in a 50' version online. I don't get any black on my hands at all. I fill the hose with water and lay it across the yard, by the afternoon the water is almost too hot to touch. I fill a bucket with that hot water and soap. It does kink pretty easy but now I have a hose reel so it doesn't do it so often.

                    Thanks for the help guys.

I went to Home Depot and got a really nice XL Magnum nozzle. It is a fireman Type with a big shut off valve thing on the top like the real thing and a standard handle. It is pressure adjustable, and spray adjustable. It was 20 dollars, but well worth it...

Okay, that's great. It seems to be high quality. I like shut off valve on it.

It works great by the way!!!

Those are similar to the one we have on our fire trucks.

                                1. Stop leaving the hoses in the cold with water in them.
                                2. Harbor Freight carries a pretty heavy duty brass firemans nozzel for around $8. Works well, even better when you bring it inside from the freezing cold.
