  • To wash or not to wash after cutting/polishing?

I've read that after using DACP and the like you should wash the car to get rid of any residue before moving on to the next step.

Wouldn't that remove any polishing oils that are left behind?

Or don't all cleaner/polishes have oils (TS oils, I've just learnt)?

After which product should one wash and why?

Is that too many questions? (Oops, there's another one)

Unless your using something like Zaino I wouldn't worry about it. Meguiars products are supposed to compliment each other. Do your polishing and then slap on a coat of your favorite wax,,,,,deadman98

There is no reason to wash your car after using a Meguiar's compound, paint cleaner, or cleaner/polish before advancing to the next product.

The chemists at Meguiar's formulate all Meguiar's products to be compatible with one another as a synergistic system.
