The best wash for removing wax??? Usually people ask this question the other way around... What is your interest in removing wax???
All of our car washes are ph balanced, so they do not strip wax from the finish.
A good wax under very good conditions will only last you about 3 months. I have never really heard of a situation where wax has built up on a finish. So, wax removal is not necessary before you apply a new coat of wax.
Please give more details about the car. Color, year, make and model, parked outside or in. This type of information will be helpful in an answer to your wax question.
Regards,
Tom

From the Zaino website,
3. I would definitely recommend you remove the wax buildup on your paint. Just use Liquid Dawn (hand dishwashing liquid) as a car wash. It has a high alkaline content which cuts right thru carnauba wax, paraffin, silicone oils, etc. This will get your paint finish squeeky clean and wax free.
I don't advise making a habit of washing your car with Dawn. But for this scenario it's fine. High alkaline products like Dawn are tough on polishes. It will never harm the paint finish though.
High alkaline, strong detergent washes will dull your paint. It certainly will not make it deeper, more reflective, and glossier. To their credit, they do not recommend making a habit of washing with high alkaline, strong detergent washes like Dawn.
The answer to your question is, (from my understanding), the manufacture recommends washing with Dawn so that the finish is squeaky clean. The purpose of a squeaky clean surface is so that their polymers have the best chance of bonding to the finish. As far as the other exterior components go, I guess you’ll need to address those after the dawn wash.
At least that's my take on their system from the information on their website, the posts I have read on the subject, as well as washing with Dawn and using the product myself.
Here's another opinion,
Why Meguiar’s recommends polishing paint
