Speaking of #9 Swirl Remover, I have noticed that if you increase the speed on PC, the product dries much faster and is pain to remove even using Ultimate Wipe. I increased it to 5 to do my dad's Corolla, and product just stared drying within 3 minutes. Is that normal? Or should I switch to #83 instead with a slower speed?

Would it not dry slower if applied thicker...more liquid to work in?

You would think so, but if you apply it too thick, and use the PC at a low speed, you're not working it enough for it to break down. All you're doing is moving it around the surface of the car so instead of breaking down & drying out to a powder, it's just drying out into a gluey mess. Megs pro line products seem to work MUCH better if used sparingly...just enough to cover a 2' x 2' area.Originally posted by Alfisti
