Re: New to waxing and want to see if this process will work

Ok so I did everything and it took me about 5 hours. Which was about what i thought it would take. There was alot of dirt on the clay bar which made me very surprised!! The car turned out awesome!!! the black was sparkling brightly in the sun. The only question I have is that when i was removing the wax there were smuges that i could not get rid of. If i polished one direction and then wiped went another direction the sumges were still there. how can i eliminate these smuges for next time? Did I use to much wax? Thanks for your help again

You likely either used too much wax in those spots, or those spots did not fully dry. But no harm done.

You can go back over those spots with a QD, that may help. Or just leave it till you wash and UQD or UQW next week.

Yeah, you'll be ok. UQD is Ultimate Quick Detailer, and UQW is Ultimate Quick Wax.

After you wash this weekend, it would be good to follow up with one of those products.

The UQD is a wipe on/wipe off product, where the UQW (if it is out yet) is a wipe on around the car real thin, then go back around and buff off.
