Many years ago #3 was the best product for buffing for that super wet look . How is it now with the new paints ? Will you get the same results ? What in Meguiars newer products is the closes to it . I understand that it also worked great by hand.

Hey Larry,
I still love using Meg's #3 Machine Glaze with the rotary!! Though designed for single stage paints, it works equally well with BC/CC. I have found that I like to apply it with the rotary at ~ 1000 RPM, and a W-9006 Finishing Pad. As you mentioned, it leaves a very wet looking finish.
As for something similar, of course, the grand daddy of them all, #7 Show Car Glaze or #81 Hand Polish (designed for BC/CC in mind) will give very simlar results.

#3 Machine Glaze is still very, very popular for machine polish all paints with a rotary buffer. It's also a mainstay product in the boat building industry for polishing molds and boats.
