i bought a coleman 6" dual action buffer in the automotive section at walmart. my question is, would this work good for waxing my truck., it doesnt work well for removing it, i know that, but what about applying it? or should i just try something else...

Applying wax is about all those low cost buffers are good for, and they actually do the job well.Michael Stoops

FWIW,
I tried one of those 6" polishers and they did not work near as well as my PC with correct pads and whatnot.
It does spread wax out good, make sure you use the right bonnet with it so you don't swirl it up.Philippians 2:14 - Do all things without grumbling or questioning,
