  • Is the the best sequence for product application

Im going to take a whole day and make my paint brilliant on my now 06' Ford Ranger! it is Red, so it shows the fine scratches when the sun shines on it and it makes me mad! what is the best thing to do? i think ill rinse it really well, then wash it with a NEW mitt. then i dry it with a microfiber towel. then i want to use some cleaner wax to get the old wax off, next i want to try the ScratchX (does it work well?) follow that up with a clay bar session ( i do it one panel at a time followed by Meguiar's wax as soon as i get done with the panel to prevent dust and stuff falling on it in the meantime) ALL this will prolly take ALL DAY, but i think it will truly give my truck the SHINE that i want without paying the CASh that i dont [want]!

    1)Rinse
    2)Wash
    3)Dry with microfiber
    4)Cleaner Wax
    5)ScratchX
    6)Clay Bar
    7)NXT Generation liquid wax
    7)DONE

    Rinse
    Wash
Dry ( I prefer waffle weave towels)
Clay (Clay will remove the old wax)
Scratch X (id try some of that Scratch X 2.0 or prehaps swirl X to remove the swirls and scratches )
No need for the cleaner wax and liquid wax to be used at the same time. So I would suggest two layers of NXT
    THEN youre done

Are you doing this by hand or machine?
