  • 5 Step Question

I'm going to start the 5 Step Paint Care Cycle when I get my Meguiars shipment. My 2000 ML 320 has a clear bra I had installed when I bought the car new in Colorado (lot's of pebbles/stones in the sand they lay down there for snowy conditions). My question is what do I do during the clay/polish/wax stages when it comes to the clear bra? Do I mask the bra off or try to clean it in some way? Thanks -Kevin

BTW - the color is dark blue.

    Re: 5 Step Question

I would just masking of the edges of the bra, just to prevent any possible contamination or discolorations.

      Re: 5 Step Question

If you tape off the edge, just be careful when you to remove the tape to pull it back at an angle and when the tape is warm.

The problem with a clear bra is not getting any kind of residue at the edge as removing it can be a pain.

Thanks Guys. I appreciate the advice. At some I would like to remove the clear bra but for now I'll mask it off. -Kevin
