  • Hyper Dressing

Also on my next order to ADS I will be buying hyper dressing. I was planing to dilute it to 3:1 for tires and maybe engines if I end up doing engines. And 2:1 for trim and the interior. I was wondering if any one has used hyper dressing on the trim or interior. I have seen pictures on tires and it looks great. I just do not want to have to buy another product.

    Re: Hyper Dressing

I have never used Hyper Dressing on my interior but something I wanted to point out....

Keep in mind Hyper Dressing is a water based dressing and won't have the durability that something like All Season Dressing (or another solvent based dressing) will on the exterior.

If you are looking for something that will last much longer on exterior trim and tires All Season Dressing is the best bet. Under the hood and wheel wells Hyper Dressing is the way to go. Just my .02.

      Re: Hyper Dressing

I don't have HD, but read a ton that it is great under the hood, but not as durable on trim. I use Gold Class Trim Detailer and ASD(ready to use ) and just aquired S-Dressing (not for under the hood as it's solvent based).

As far as interior, HD if I read right, is great and can be diluted to your liking as far as gloss goes.

a bottle of Gold Class Trim Detailer is cheap and a little goes a long ways for your exterior trim. and use the HD for the rest

I use HD for the under hood, and let me tell you, this its the best product that i ever use there, because it makes a new looks for this amazing. Also, agree as say Brandon, the HD its wather based, and i never used on the interior, but i think it maybe works. About the Glod Class Trim Detailier, i think its to shine for the interior trim, and thats its what i love about the HD, that you used and maket like you want.

            Re: Hyper Dressing

I haven't used it for the interior, I think I won't like it. I always use 4:1 on my wheel wells and it gives a great look but I don't like how it feels so that's why I just don't use it on the interior. I rather stick with M40 for the interior

HD is a killer product. One of my favorites. Some pics of how it looks under the hood.

                Re: Hyper Dressing

I've used HyperDressing all over the car. Engine compartment, tires, wells, undercarriage, interior vinyls and rubber seals. Its water based so it needs some time to penetrate and be absorb into the plastic/rubber/vinyl.

I was trying to find an economic way on replacing M40 in the interior (buying 5gal of HD is sweet!) and so far, I like 4:1 on them. Looks natural and not oily.

The only thing I'm worried is the 1) Cleaning abilities of HyperDressing compared to M40 and 2) UV protectant it carries to which I understand (from reading, haven't really had enough time to see the long term effects), if you dilute it more, the protection is lesser.

edit: You can always buy a sampler bottle from our buddy Rick@ADS

Thanks for all of your input and opinions. I put a sample of ASD in my order. Tim, how do you like the look of HD on the interior? Does it last long? How does it compare in shine with M40 or other interior products?

i like hyper dressing because you can have one product that produces different levels of gloss and shine
