  • Would D151 remove old wax?

If I wash my car and follow that up with 151 as a wax will that remove the sealant I have on now? I'm thinking it probably will, but I'm not sure...

Yes, it should. D151 has some abrasive action to it, and it if it intended to remove some amount of clear/paint, then it should also remove anything up top of the paint as well.

D151 is a great product to use from time to time as a maintenance step to remove light haze that will accumulate from normal washing. Just follow it up with your favorite wax after your next wash and it will be back to normal.

Most definitely. Meguiar's D151 is stronger than M83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish but less than M86 Solo. So any wax or sealant will be removed. The nice thing about D151 is how nice it finishes down and that it leaves a durable wax finish.

But for regular maintenance, it would be far too strong. Products like: M205 Ultra Finishing Polish or M82 Swirl Free Polish or M80 Speed Glaze would be far more appropriate for minor marring which may occur between regular full details.
