Okay here is my problem... Whenever I wax a black car it seems that I get like a brownish haze on the spot I just waxed. I properly prepped the surface with deep crystal paint cleaner then polish so I am at a loss. Anyone ever had this problem?? I know it is probably just me that has this problem LOL. Any suggestions?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah just remembered, I only have this problem with black cars I have done red and white cars with no problems. Thanks again

NXT I don't think there is anything wrong with the wax because I have used it on my camaro and my fathers truck and have gotten amazing results. So I am at a lossNothing but the best, That's why I use Meguiar's.

Two weeks ago we cleaned and polished this black Viper with a clear coat and the results were a very deep, dark black color that looks like you could put your hand into the paint...
Are these black finishes clear coated? or single stage?

I have been using a microfiber towel I let it sit for 10 minutes and I did try wiping it off with quick detail with no success. It is a clearcoat finish.Nothing but the best, That's why I use Meguiar's.

Hmmm....
Is this a re-paint? or on every black car you work on?
The way to trouble shoot this would be to clean a section about 12 to 18 inches square with a paint cleaner and then divide the section into two equal parts.
Then apply one well worked in coat of the Deep Crystal Polish to one half, and two thin coats of NXT Tech Wax to the other half.
Then inspect in good lighting both indoor and outdoor with outdoor being the most important.
If the color is the same on both sides, then that's the true color of your car's paint and it could be it's the first time it's ever been this clean and clear. If the color is different on one side, i.e. the polish side is black and the wax side is brown, then we know one product is changing the paint color.
It's important to clean the paint first to insure you're starting with a fresh base. Perhaps use painters tape to keep yourself from cross-contaminating each section while applying the different products.
Hope this helps...

The car has the original paint. It is a 99 taurus with 60,000 on it. I will try the way you recommended that will probably take care of the problem, I will keep you updated as to what happens. Thanks againNothing but the best, That's why I use Meguiar's.

okay, I tried waxing the car again today. I took paint cleaner and cleaned it really good. Then I wiped the residue off with instant detailer that worked great. Then I used nxt for wax, let it sit for 10 minutes and wiped it off with a microfiber towel. It came out really good so it seems that the paint was just extremely dirty. Thanks Again for the help everybodyNothing but the best, That's why I use Meguiar's.
