  • Maybe a good idea for Meguiars products!?

    Hello everybody,

On my work they had a special bottle. I took one home to put some Meguiars Gold Class Carwash in it. I have a one gallon bottle with Gold Class so that is not very handy. But now the bottle, after seeing it I thought, damn handy. Never seen it before but why didn't I think of that.
There is the normal bottle and on top a special little measurement bottle connected to the bottle by a small tube.

As you can see the bottle has two openings. One to fill the bottle and the other one to use the little bottle on top. The smart thing about this is. When you open the white cap you can press the bottle and by the small tube some liquid will fill the little bottle very slowly.
When you have enough in the little section just pour it out. You'll see only the liquid in the little bottle will come out and the rest will stay in the big bottle. Very handy if you need to measure a little without thinking in weight or caps. What do you think?

Btw. The Gold class bottle says something about 3 caps for a car wash. Could somebody tell me howmuch ml. that is Thanks!

    Greetings Peter

Very handy! I have a few of them myself. I picked them up from usplastics.

Gold Class is 1 oz per gallon of water. That's about 30ml per gallon. Or 30ml per 3.8 liters of water.

I still use the Dixie Cup method... it's simple and works.

Got that idea from your vid on google! I ended up cutting the cup around the black line on the inside so I can just fill it to the rim and dump it in.

That does work great, the dixie cup, but I found a cheapo plastic measuring cup and bought a couple to use.

At Wally World I also bought a cheap measuring cup. Darn thing is practically indestructible.

I just did the Dixie cup method with one of my old unused plastic drinking cups that I didn't care about. It's permanent and the cup is very durable too. I'm sure that jug could definitely streamline the process though for people who don't read this forum.

But then again, those people are probably doing 1000 other things wrong anyway.
