i recently bought a new 09 tsx. The color is grey. I'd like to purchase some products that will keep the show room shine. I've done some research and got some recommendations, but I'd need some re-enforcing. Mike could you recommend some products? I plan to use the 5 step method. Thanks!

Re: Products to buy for new 09 tsx
1. Wash - Gold Class, Nxt, etc. Two buckets, Grit Guards if possible, good quality towels, sponges.
2. Clay - Smooth Surface Clay kit, and I'd pick up some extra QD.
3. Clean - Should just need a mild cleaner, so DC1 would be fine.
4. Polish - DC2 would also be fine, or #7 Show Car Glaze is top of the line.
5. Wax - Nxt 2.0 is the newest and advertised as the best protecting wax.
6. Wax - Remember 2 thin coats are best.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Products to buy for new 09 tsx
As mentioned, the DA will give better results (though could change the products a bit. I picked out products primarily for hand use).
But it is a bigger investment. A cheap $25 buffer will do nothing.
I htink a lot of us detailed by hand at first, and watched the DVD a bit before buying a DA.

If you are seriously considering purchasing a G110, then you should give Rick a call at Auto Detailing Solutions. He is running a couple of Christmas specials and he can advise you on pads and other stuff you will need.

Re: Products to buy for new 09 tsx
Yeah, the new products will make it interesting. But #80 will still work like a charm.
1. Wash - Same
2. Clay - Same
3. Cleaner/Polish - #80 Speed Glaze, Polishing Pad
4. Wax - Nxt 2.0, Finishing pad. Cutting pad + MF bonnet for wax removal
5. Wax - Nxt 2.0, Finishing pad. Cutting pad + MF bonnet for wax removal
6. Maintain
ADS actually only ships to the lower 48, thoug hit really is the best place to shop. Do you have any family friends over here, that could resend a package?2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

1) Wash
See: How to Wash Your Car (ShowCar Style!)
2) Clay, if needed
See: Mike Phillip's on How to Clay Your Car
3) Cleaner Wax
4) NXT (optional: adding a coat of NXT will give you more uniform coverage and will add to the durability; but it is not strictly necessary).
This would be an excellent regular program to take care of your daily driver.
