  • Sears' Halogen Lamp on Sale

I just posted this in an old thread and then realized that precisely because it's an old thread, the announcement might be easily overlooked.

Sears has just put its halogen tripod lamp on sale, reduced from $40 to $25:

    Looks like a good deal...

I am looking for some better priced fluorescent lights like you have posted. Trying to get away from the heat 'problem' - I not only use them for detailing but other projects as well and they can heat a room up rather quick.

I'd use fluorescent lights as well to solve the heat problem halogen lamps give off, but they use more energy

Actually, in my neck of the woods, heat in the winter-time is a welcomed thing...

I'm actually close to going ahead and purchasing a dual 1000watt halogen set-up on sale at Lowes for $29.99...

I knew I should have waited. Just bought a 500 watt at Advance Auto for $15.99.
