  • Help, foam ring on my seat!

Hi guys, I figured I can still borrow some experience from you guys here.

Few days ago I was clean my car seat using Armorall upholstery cleaner and some other things came up, so the foam was left on the car seat and dried by itself. The second day I got a messy stain(like water ring) on my seat (please see the image link in this post), now what should I do to get rid of this? using hot water? apply and scrub armor foam again?

please give me some advices, thanks!

here is what the ring looks like,

    Welcome to MOL lifeinus!

I changed your click-able link to an embedded picture (no click-able links are allowed for new members until they reach 30 posts) and moved the thread into "Detailing 101" since it gets more traffic and is more likely to find you an answer.

    Hope this helps!

What were you going to use to extract it? or just wipe it down with a cloth? Do you have a shop vac?

If it were me, by hand, just re clean the area and make sure to rinse your cloth frequently and soak up the left over cleaner (it probably had some dirt in there which is what you may see on the ring part). Then let it dry with windows down and/or doors open weather pending

By shop vac, as above and extract the water out to speed the drying process out.

I have a spot cleaner extractor with upholstery attachment which has come in handy and I use that to extract after a re clean.

      keep us up to date.

You may try a damp terry cloth towel and just keep rubbing it. Rinse the towel and repeat.

I would use the damp terry cloth towel. Keep it as dry as possible, and keep working at it. The last thing you want is to much water and your ring will get larger.

I will give it a try tomorrow and update you guys!

            Thanks again
