Forged wheels how to shine them back

My clients got $15000 wheels and they are forged aluminum wheels. They were covered by stickers and I striped the the stickers, the stickers left some nasty glues so I used body solvent and lastly #80 but the wheels turned dull.

I am panic now! What should I do to make them shine again?

If these are straight aluminum, that is just aluminum, no clear coat and they are not anodized then you can use any quality aluminum polish with some passion behind an applicator pad and restore the shine and brilliance.

i used mothers can of polish, u can get it advanced or whereever, ill post pics, it works well

Mother's does work well, but for best brilliance, all things being equal I'd put up our Mag & Aluminum Polish and in fact any of our aluminum/all metal polishes up against anything on the market.

Try the HR Mag and Aluminum Polish, it's cheap and just another product in your arsenal for the future.

It's good stuff.

I had excellent results with M105 by hand on a polished aluminum valve cover that had been etched by simple green. Restored the shine nicely. Follow up with the Hot Rims polish
