Hey everyone! I was just wondering about the pure polishes such as #81. Is it really needed if you've already cleaned your paint with either #83, #80 or #82? I know it cleans the paint and maybe it only has super mild polishes built within it.. I was just wondering since the detailing days at Meguiar's HQ doesn't use #81 sometimes (or even DC#2). Like in the corvette detailing day, they used #83, then #80 then went ahead with the LSP (NXT).

He didn't suggest using a pure polish in between the cleaner and the LSP. Are the pure polishes not that necessary when using paint cleaners such as #83, #80 and #82?
Thanks everyone!

Hi Shawn,
The #82 is a pretty mild cleaner/polish when applied with the G-100, if you have some serious defects, then a good combo would be Speed Glaze and #83 Dual Action Cleaner Polish. Follow this with wax and you're good to go.
