I just bought a 2009 Volkswagon Jetta Wagon. Where do I begin taking care of the factory paint?

The first thing you need to do is look over the paint and see what you think it needs. Wash the car and feel it. Does it feel smooth? Chances are you will want to clay it. How about the look of the paint? Does it have any scratches? Swirl marks? If so, then give it a good polishing. If they are light then some ColorX will probably do the trick. The last thing you want to do is get a good coat of wax on it. Two coats of NXT 2.0 will give it months of protection.JasonComment
