    Removing Ink

    There is some ink on the steering wheel of a car I am detailing. I tried using and standard cleaner but it just smeared the ink more. What do you guys use to remove ink. It is the standard Vinyl/plastic steering wheel material of most cars...

    The standard cleaner was APC?

    #39 seems like the strongest plastic/vinyl cleaner...

    Might be something to try a Magic Eraser on, or a bit of a soak and blot technique as well.

      No i was using "other stuff"

      -Tuff Stuff
      -Windex
      -Lysol

      I will try Magic Eraser, I heard they work.

      If that doesn't work, I will try APC

        Hairspray removes ink from clothes, try it!

          I would go with the APC first. Then try the hairspray. Good luck.
