  • SwirlX then top with NXT 2.0....

hello, since I'm working by hand, I would like to use SwirlX (as a paint cleaner) ....replacing ColorX.....and then I would top off with NXT 2.0

is this a good routine to use. am planning on replacing ColorX.

    pros....cons.....?

It sounds good if you have defects you want to remove. I think SwirlX is going to be fairly aggressive, so you may not want to use it as a routine. Maybe once you have your paint looking as good as you want you could substitute SwirlX with M09 or #7 as your polish.

I would say yes and no. lol

If you want to remove swirl marks then it would be a great product to use. However if your planning on using it for a car already in perfect condition it might be a bit of an over kill. It's hard to say since it's not out yet. From the few times I've used it, it had some bite to it and did an excellent job removing fine swirl marks.

Edit: sudsbyhubbs beat me to the same point. lol

You know, I can't remember if I did. That was called 21-13B in the product testing. I know I used 21-09B by hand. Hmmmm, thank goodness it's Friday.

Check out some of the other guys reviews too. I'm pretty sure Tyler (roushstage2) used it by hand. Ryan might have too. I'll tell you what, I should have time this weekend, I can do a little test by hand if you would like.

Is this in reference to the car in this thread that you just had painted ?
