Cleaner and Polish

I have a Toyota Prius and was wondering how many applications you could expect from each bottle, DC1, and DC2.

I'm getting a lot better using the NXT 2.0 car wax, and knowing how much is too much, thin thin thin coat!

I have been squeezing an amount about the size of a quarter and rubbing an area about 2' by 2'. Is this too much, or just right?

The cleaner should be the first to go. The polish and the wax would be applied similarly, but you would likely use a bit more cleaner to work it in.

I don't know how many applications though.

Bunches and bunches. And remember: you'll be waxing your car a lot more frequently than you will be cleaning (DC1) and glazing (DC2) it. Your bottles are going to last you a long time.

You'll get fewer "applications" of the cleaner than you will either the polish or wax, but then again if you're diligent in the way you wash and dry the car, you shouldn't have to use the cleaner as often as you use the others. For example, you may wax your car every 3 months but only use the cleaner once a year.

When we prepped vehicles for Ford at SEMA this year we applied NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 via G110 and managed to cover 30+ vehicles with about 3/4 bottle of NXT. Now, you have to keep in mind that we were doing these one right after the other so the pad was always "wet" with product (note: there is a HUGE difference between "wet" and "saturated") so you probably won't get that many applications when you just wax one vehicle at a time, put the bottle & pad away, then do it all over again in a few months. Remember, as long as the pad is "wet" with product you can essentially continue to apply a wax or sealant as you aren't "working" something that breaks down or otherwise diminishes; you're just applying a thin layer of product.

As long as the pad is wet you can basically add less and less to the pad, just try and keep it wet.

I also have a Prius and the week i bought it it got a Gold Class wash, Clay, cleaner wax, and a coat of NXT. I may try #7 one of these days just to bring some of the shine out.
