  • Polish or glase before waxing

I just want to get a answer to something I have been thinking about for a long time.I know its best to get the surface of a vehicle as clean as possible before waxing, such as claying or a good paint cleaner. Most all the time I use a good glaze or polish to make dark colors have the deep or wet look to them topped with a good wax such a tech 2.0 or a poly sealent. So heres my big question,.If there is oils in the glaze or polish, how will the wax or poly bond to the paint .It seems to me to waxes would not be able to bond laying over something with oils in it.Could anyone fill me in on the difference a wax will bond to the paint with a glaze or polish ,will it last longer or to without them something I been wondering for a while,so whats everyone's thoughts on this. thanks barry
