    -M80
    -nxt 2.0

    or

    -M105
    -M205
    -nxt 2.0

Or should I use the consumer line up?

    - Ultimate Compound
    - ScratchX or SwirlX?

I've used all but the M205. I was truly amazed with SwirlX and Ultimate Compound. I guess it depends on how many cars you plan to do correction work on. If your just taking care of a smaller number of cars the consumer products would probably work fine. At this time I don't really see any differences between the consumer and pro versions other than the size of the bottle. That doesn't mean that they are the same, just that I didn't notice one from the little bit I've used them.

I would think it would all depend on what your working on and what you're trying to accomplish. It would go against Meguiar's addage of using the least aggressive product first if you automatically always used #105 first instead of #80 or #83.

I just detailed three vehicles (2 cars and a truck) with M80 then NXT 2.0 and I have nothing but favorable things to say. I clayed one car and the truck then applied the M80 followed by the NXT 2.0. The biggest surprise for me was the condition of the paint after application/removal of the M80. The surface was so clean and free of anything but clearcoat. All that was required after that was the application of NXT 2.0 to protect it.

One side-benefit of both products is the EASE at which they are removed ... with a MF towel and a little elbow grease. there was no reason to put a bonnet on the PC at all ... it just came right off with little-to-no dusting. The lack of dust means that when you are done wiping the car down (after the NXT 2.0) you are DONE, there is no need (unless you still have some energy left) to do anything else but admire your work.

I have been detailing my vehicles for 25 years but the purchase of a PC and the Meguair's M80 and NXT 2.0 provided better results in half the time. I was looking for efficeincy and I got it.

I was price conscious with respect to the cost of these products ... that was until I saw how well they worked AND the fact that for less then $40 I have enough product to detail my vehicles for (probably) 2 to 3 years. they are a good value.

I just hope that the NXT 2.0 lasts a while ...
