  • Jeep Hard top

I just recently purchased a 2001 Jeep Wrangler. The black hard top is fiberglass and is faded.

Will Meguiar's All Season restore the hard top on a Jeep? or one of their other products?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Re: Jeep Hard top

Was or is the factory finish on this surface supposed to be glossy or is it supposed to be flat?

This question has come up before, so let me know and then I can pursue an answer.

      Re: Jeep Hard top

Can you post up some photos? That way we can get you set with a photo of your Jeep as your avatar too.

I would guess some of the RV line might work. I don't have any experience with those products or fiberglass so I'll let someone else take over.

        Re: Jeep Hard top

If you do a search using the terms,

        Jeep Hardtop

        or

        Jeep texture

You'll find a few threads to read, here's one with some suggestions...

If this is the top that's kind of flat, that is from the factory it's not smooth, glossy and shiny then there's not a lot of options as far as products to use on it from Meguiar's or anyone including Jeep, (I think).

If you read the replies in the above linked to thread, check out what Tom wrote in post 9, if this is the flat, textured finish then Tom's probably right.
