I see someone linked you to the Absorber, it's amazing how much water those things absorb. Some don't like them, but I haven't had any issues with mine. Like I said I though, I blot not drag. I blot with the Water Magnet too. I try not to drag anything across the paint with out a lot of lubrication (like water and/or soap), so I always try to dry by blotting. If I do wipe (very rarely) it is with the water magnet and very lightly.

I can't really say for sure if it makes a difference with the water magnet. Before I found this forum and began to educate myself, I used a yellow microfiber from Napa (came in a pack of 36 for about $26, I think they are the same as the Costco microfibers people talk about) and rubbed it all over the paint to dry my truck. That was bad, very very bad. I had swirls, scratches and RIDs everywhere. After that I try to only blot.

I was wondering when you guys get those big 27x10 absorbers do you guys cut them in two and use two at a time like I saw Mike Phillips did on his video? Or do you use one big one and same for the waffle weave too? Thanks alot for your help you guys. I have been using the water magnet to dry the car as much as possible by dragging it and then I use a microfiber with the name brand vroom to go over the car to remove the streaks and I think Im leaving swirls doing this because I have bunch now.

I have (2) of the large Absorbers, but haven't cut either of them. The size doesn't create any problems for me.

It is possible that the Vroom MF you're wiping with is living scratches. The Yellow MF's I was using, felt really soft to me, until I felt a Meg's MF. Then it was obvious where all of my scratches were coming from. Try blotting, instead of dragging. It's really hard to create a scratch if the MF isn't being dragged across the surface.

man thanks for your response now I can start doing it the correct way. I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering like tonight I just went out with my girlfriend and this is a fairly new car and now that its winter it is very cold. I always park my car in the garage and tonight I pulled the car out of the garage and we went out and I noticed that these is condensation all over my paint and I look at other cars on the street but they dont have it. Its like my car looks frozen with a sheet of condensation and I was wondering do you guys know what would have caused this problem or is it normal?
