Waxed the car yesterday and noticed you really don't have to apply much pressure when applying wax to your pad. At first I know I was getting to much wax ont he car, then I would lightly dab the pad into the wax and this seemed like the right amount to cover a square foot area. Does this sound about right?

DISO - Dealer Installed Swirl Option

This is just a joke right? Nobody wants swirls on their car?

    Thanks

Sounds like you got it right.......thin is the key. Almost so thin that you can barely see it. Otherwise you are wasting product, it will tend to streak, and it won't dry uniformly.

DISO is a real fact of life. It happens when you let the dealer wash your car. The lot jockeys at most dealerships have no concept of how to properly wash a car. Many dealerships will wash your car as a "courtesy" after they do a major service job on it. So be sure to let the service writer know that you don't want your car washed.....even post a sticker on the steering wheel to make sure.

I saw your other post about a PC. If you can, get one! It will be the best money you can spend by far when it comes to maintaining a show car finish.
