Dry Dusting/Moist Dusting?

Hi All,
Till now, I can't find and buy a Detailer (UQD/QD) in my country and it will also take me long before I go abroad. So, I want to know which method is better between Dry Dusting with a clean microfiber cloth and Moist Dusting with moist microfiber cloth. Yesterday, when I take my microfiber dusting cloth, it's a little moist and I got no way but to use it. But quite strange, it seems like it worked better than dry dusting. Is it just a coincidence? or Is it really better to moist dust?
Of course, I'll try to buy some QD if I have a chace but before that I want to make sure I don't put tons of scratches on my paint with the possible ways I can.

Can you find it somewhere on the Internet that will ship to you? When detailing your car you really should use a quik detailer to aid in removing the dust, contaminates and provide lubrication and prevent scratching.

Since I have no idea where "on the world" might be, I can't be very specific, but you might go to Meguiar's International page and find some information.
One thing that I personally think would be better than the MF, damp or otherwise, would be something like the Body Duster.
If you can't find the Meguiar's product, you might be able to find something similar in your part of the world from another manufacturer.
They have to be used with care and not on a truly dirty vehicle.
They aren't for everyone, but I have used them for years with no problem.

Hi Guys, actually I'm from Myanmar (South East Asia Country). One of the poorest countries and most people here don't pay much attention to car shine or swirl free finish. So these sorts of products are impossible to buy here. In my country, you can see the most cruel ways of washing and drying cars and the most inappropriate ways of polishing/waxing. People just stick to the way that they're comfortable with as only few people have access to internet and knowledge is limited. For All my car care products, I have to buy when I go to singapore on business trips. Singapore is also a place where Meguiars can't be bough OTC and Meguiars distributor (Hypercoat) is very very very far away from downtown. That's the reason why sometimes I think of using other brands when finding the meguiars is so difficult but I'm still a true Meguiars fan and so I belive it will stick to it as long as I can.
So, before getting any detailers, please suggest whether dry dusting/moist dusting is less cruel to paint. By the way, I also don't have access to any body duster now.

I went to singapore last month and I went to AutoBacs, largest auto accessories store in singapore and even there, supply of Meguiars products are limited. Only Consumer Products and very few Mirror Glaze series were available. No UQD at that time. I also thought of buying M83 and M105 from that shop but they said I have to call HyperCoat and can only get at their office. So, I gave up that time but this time, I got no way but to take a 1 1/2 hour ride to that office and get my meguiars product. But I truly believe, Meguiars should think of better marketing in singapore to compete with readily availbe OTC products like Mothers, autoglym and Soft99.

Unfortunately, it sounds like the customer service is almost non-existent.
Most of the Meguiar's dealers in my area can and will order a product if they don't have it in stock and have it in a day or two.
Possibly one of the dealers that you have easier access to could order the products you want ahead of one of your visits and have them at their store for you to pick up.
I know that different countries have different cultures and different ways of doing business, but it might be worth a try.
