I have a Suzuki Forenza and I would like to remove the little silver FORENZA plastic piece that they attach on the rear of the car. Can i safely do this without screwing up the finish? If so how would I do this.......Thanks

Another way -- work some fishing line back and forth under the emblem much like you would floss your teeth. Remove the remaining adhesive with an adhesive remover, WD-40, iso-alcohol or bug and tar remover. Do not lift the emblem off at a sharp angle. The edge of the emblem can actually dent the metal. If any marring remains just polish it out. *Do Not* use a screw driver or other sharp object.

Heat guns get hot fast. Next thing you know the paint is coming off too, trust me I've done it.
Just do like tguil suggested and don't rush it. It should come off pretty easy. If the residue isn't coming off try picking up some 3M adhesive remover. It comes in a white and red can. Should be able to find it at most auto paint supply stores. A plastic razor blade comes in handy too if you have one.Scott
