  • Tire Shine

I am doing my friends Pontiac G6 tomorrow and I was wondering if you can apply tire shine in the door jambs on the weather stripping? I do not have hyper-dressing so I was wondering if I could use that. Any suggestions are welcome. I will probably post pictures tomorrow.

I use Hot Shine on my B-pillars and front cowl and the rear fairings behind the wheels. I havent seen any negative effects in 8k miles of doing it. I should get some Hyper Dressing though

Is it ok if I sprayed hyperdressing into paint like in door jambs? I heard also some people sprayed the the whole engine compartment... is it safe on metal??!!

You could try GC trim detailer, great stuff.

You can spray it on the paint - doesn't hurt the paint but it will leave an oily residue that should be cleaned off. If I get a little over spray I use a Quik Detailer to remove the HD from the paint.

Hyper dressing IMO is meguiars best engine compartment dressing.

            Re: Tire Shine

I *personally* spray Hyper Dressing all over the place. The stuff is magical.

Have a wheel well? Feed it Hyper Dressing. You don't even have to spread it or wipe it on or off...so spray it and walk away. It magically spreads and makes the entire place evenly delicious.

Engine bay? Same story. In fact, I find that the hyper dressing doesn't even look bad at all on the black painted metals and such. Heck, it makes it looks BETTER.

I'll post up some pictures from my recent 30 hour detail and the many uses for Hyper Dressing I found. The stuff ROCKS.

                Re: Tire Shine

Thanks all for the reply, I bought #40 and hyperdressing I was thinking to keep the hyperdressing until #40 galon finish. I couldn't wait so I dulited HD to 3:1 and used it to dress tires.

                Thanks again.
