hello guys well i have $300 to invest in a machine either makita 9227c, PC, or Flex DA i have a cyclo 5. I need your opinions and help me choose as to which is best. thank you
i would say the meguiars da. swirl free polishing, ease of use and for 300 dollars you can get the polsher, pads polish...everything you need. plus for customer cars most will be happy with the new shiny paint and not even realize what else the rotary would have been able to do

I would tend to agree with the above.
Doing a "Complete" rotary buff out on an entire car is a lot of work, it's great for a show car or for anyone willing to pay you the big bucks to do the job.
But for most cars on the road, (Daily drivers), and for most people in the world, shiny paint is more than acceptable and for the most part what most people are willing to pay for.
That said, our G110 will give great results and you won't have all the physical work it takes to run a rotary buffer over the entire car once, and usually 2-3 times before you're done, (although our new super micro Abrasive technology is changing this), and then you'll still usually use a DA Polisher to finish off the car or your hand.
This is why my first post asked what you're planning on using the tool for. The rotary buffer is a great tool, you just have to know when to use it and that's decision is based upon your goals or your customer's goals and whether they're willing to pay you enough to achieve their goals.
In a perfect world you would have both, until you can get both then getting the DA Polisher first followed by the rotary buffer would be a good path to travel down.
