Re: G110 polisher questions on honda paint for 1st timer???

After learning the hard way, do a test spot first! My 01 black Accord was swirled to death. I finally got it looking its best with M83 followed by M80. Once I finally learned (relearned) how to correctly wash and dry my car, the quarterly maintenance has boiled down to clay and M09. I haven't seen any evidence of micro marring. The key is getting rid of all the swirls in the first place and then being extremely careful about anything which touches the paint. All paints are different, so YMMV.

Do yourself a huge favor and dial in the products and technique which yield the results you're after on a 2'x2' test spot. Then, and only then, duplicate the process on the rest of the car.
