My sister called me today and asked if I could clean her friends car in college when I go visit her. I quickly said yes, but after thinking a while, I do not know how dirty the car is. I will ask her if he can take pictures later, but I wanted to get some suggestions first. I was planning on doing a system similar to the waterless system of meguiars but here in America. I have the California Duster(almost the same as the waterless one), quik and ultimate quik deatilers, and microfiber towels. Then I assume he is not a car guy so I would clay it and wax it, nothing special. I was wondering if you guys had any tips on what products to use, because I am going to the store tomorrow hopefully. I am not sure if I can get water to the car easily either, so the suggestions should be able to be used waterless. In advance thanks.

Re: Washing a Car in College
since you have a truck.... just bring 3 filled 5 gallon buckets.... and a super soaker.... LOL.... just make sure the buckets are secured and lid closed.... maybe duct tape the lids to make sure it doesnt spill...
with that you can just your normal car soap and wash mitt and wash the car as you would at home.....

Even cheating and brining your own bucket of soap real fast, even if you do it in the off-hours.
But in all seriousness, I only do it LATE at night (midnight or later) and I work in the dark...it's nice though for a quickie wash with spot free water for under 5 bucks a wash!

If its bad(dirty) take it to a coin-op and rinse it off good. Then take it where ever youre working and use the ONR to wash it. After that you can do whatever you want.
Claying, color-x, then NXTv2 should work out great.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff
