  • How To Remove Grease?

    HI ALL?

YESTERDAY I CAME BACK FROM AQ LONG TRIP AND I FOUND GREASE INSIDE THE BUMPERS AND IN THE PAINT OF THE CAR.
vERY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE SO I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN USE THE BUG AND TAR REMOVER FROM MEGUIARS.

    WHAT DO YOU RECOMEND ME?

    THANK YOU

    Hi ercoreca,

We make a product in our Detailer Line that would probably work the best called Body Solvent, but you have to purchase a gallon of it as this is the smallest size it is available in. You can try the Meguiar's Bug and Tar remover which you may be able to find at a local parts store.

Another option would be to wipe off as much as you can with a towel and then use some paint cleaner like Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, ScratchX, Medallion Paint Cleaner, or Meguiar's Clear Coat Body Scrub to remove the rest. A Meguiar's paint cleaner should help to liquefy, loosen and remove any remaining grease residue.

For inside the bumpers, you might try a nylon bristle brush and as strong solution of dish washing soap to remove the grease if wiping and applying a paint cleaner isn't an option.

    Hope this helps...
