I am debating whether to use DC cleaner and polish vs. Mirror Glaze 9 (which is both in one). I understand that there is no abraiding agent in DC. I am new to detailing and I will be using a PC polisher which I have never used before. My car is a brand new silver Miata and I do not see any scratches or swirls on the finish. I like the idea of saving a step with MG 9 but I won't risk it if I can do any harm to the finish. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

Always use the least aggressive product to get the job done"
If you don't see any visible defects and your car is brand new, then there is no reason to use a cleaner/polish and instead you can use a pure polish like the Deep Crystal Polish.
