  • Tire Applicator

So I plan on buying some Gold Class Endurance High Gloss gel for my tires. What applicator do you recommend using to put this on the tire? I was going to buy this from a local Pep Boys. Do you think they'd have a decent applicator? Thanks.

      Re: Tire Applicator

Just about any foam applicator tends to work best for Endurance.

      A few tips...

Do not apply too much product...You don't want it running / oozing all over

Wipe off any excess before driving...

Let the car sit for a few before driving...

Stand back and enjoy the look

I like to apply the gel using a paintbrush. Then after all the grooves on the tire are filled in, I like using the jumbo foam tire applicator from ads to remove any excess. Then the last thing I do is to give the tires one more swipe. This seems to limit the amount of sling.

Target and probably other knock off brands have their own that have a plastic holder on top of the foam applicator. These seem to leave my hands a little less greasy than other swipes and are pretty cheap, maybe $3 for two of them, plus they last a while.

I saw some Microfiber and Terry applicator pads at my local Toyota dealer today. The Microfiber ones were a 2 pack the Terry were a 3 pack and they were $5.99 for each pack with a handle on top. PM me for the name of the dealer as I dont want to post it up here.
