  • Fallout on paint

    Hey all i have and 08 honda civic. Waxed and polished from day 1; now i can see little clear specs first on the spoiler now on the trunk also the mirrors. At first i thought ccf but now im thinking ind fallout; Can this be removed by claying.?

    Clear specs? Are they round, maybe like water spots?

      Most often- yes. It's impossible to say 100% for sure without going out and trying, but most often clay will remove things like that no problem.

      I would suggest starting with a very thorough wash and rinse, and then begin with a mild claybar. If you find that is not doing the job, and are capable of following up with a light or medium polish by machine or hand then you can try the Aggressive clay as well. (Odds are, you won't need the aggressive).

      I have tried both and like them a lot.

                      If claying doesn't help, try a light paint cleaner like ScratchX or Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner.

                      See if a little rubbing provides any noticeable amount of improvement.
