    A few questions

1 Base coat clear or single stage ?

2 was it sprayed in a booth and baked after or air dryed ?

Also, can you provide some pictures?

Were you touching it while it was dirty or clean when the scratches occurred?

What wax did you put on it? Besides it being designed for marine use, I doubt that a "wash & wax" product is going to give the protection of a dedicated wax/sealant product. In any event, black shows scratches very easily, particularly single stage paint. I would also think that your paint may not be fully cured after one month, so probably a good thing you weren't waxing it.

didn't they tell you you are not suppose to wax the car for 30 days at least and some say 90 days recommended..... the paint has to be airred out and wax prevents that.....

I don't think a "wash & wax" car wash would have much effect of sealing the paint.

Bainz, can you say "repaint" yes you need to wait 30-60 days (as mentioned above) for the paint to cure. I hate to say this but I think you are screwed.

You mean pre-mixed from the manufacturer?

                    Re: new paint job

I think that by applying the wash and wax is were the problem lies. Even with a little wax protection the paint is not being aired properly.
