    I'll let others chime on their preferences for rotary buffers, I've had good luck with my Makita. You could also start a dedicated thread or do a search as this has come up often.

    That's a pretty good collection, you may want to re-polish by machine with M80 and then apply a coat of wax when you're finished removing all your sanding marks no matter how you remove them.

      Do i also need new backing plates? i guess not huh
      And what is the solution i am using while rubbing the wet sandpaper?
      What model Makita should i get if i decide to?

        You need at least one backing plate for the foam pads to attach to the polisher

        You can just fold your paper and not use a backing pad but it's nice to have in your arsenal.

        Few drops of soap to a spray bottle of water, it only takes a little...

        There's a model that comes with both the hoop handle and the stick handle, get that model and then you can decide which handle you like best.
