Gasoline discolored tire.... please help !!!

I was at the pump and the gas nozzle came out of the hole while in full flow mode. The fuel got all over a wheel and tire. The tire became discolored so I wasnt sure what to use on it to clean up.

it may have discoloured it, so would give tyre dressing a go. (or patience and a permanent marker or tyre paint i have seen before), if u can you get a picture to show us this could help with a solution

Should be able to just clean and dress the tire.

The wheel I would definately wash well right away.

You could keep it simple and use car wash soap or even dish washing detergent. Scrub the tire and then rinse well then replace your dressing.

Hey David,

Nice to see you back around on the forum.

Just clean it up and redress the tire. Did the gas get on you paint at all? If so be sure to also clean that area and put a new coat of your favorite wax or sealant on the area.

You should be just fine with a good washing and reapply the dressing.
