I've been using 151 with the solo wool light cut pad on a rotary at 1100-1500rpms and have had great results. After using the rotary I apply 21 with a da. The finish is deep and rich. Did a black 50th anniversary Z06 yesterday that you could have used as a mirror to shave.

Sounds like some amazing results considering the few products you used.

So you're using the white and yellow so1o wool? Are you finishing it out with that pad too?

I used that pad for the first time a few days ago and was very happy how well it finished for wool.

I don't use the solo system, but use the yellow wool pad with 151 and use the cut & cream for "by hand" rub-outs. By the way I have my da set at 1.5-2. The speeds depend on how "soft" the paint feels or the humidity/temp.
