when can i use the ULTIMATE QUIK DETAILER®

i usually have my car hand washed every friday by some dude that comes to my work place with his own deionized water tank. he does a pretty decent job but every saturday morning i like to go over the whole car with the quick detailer spray. i have a few questions:

1) if the car has a small layer of dust on it is it safe to use the spray or do i have to wash it again? right now my car is covered in fine scratches that scratchx is supposed to take out and i think these scratches came from me using the detailer when the car had a little dust on it.

2) is it ok to use the detailer spray outside if it is sunny and hot?

1. QD sprays, and UQD are meant to remove light dust. So that should be ok, if it is using a good MF cloth.

2. If it is hot, not so much.

A lot of your scratches could come from the guy wahsing the car.... His techniques, tools, products, etc could be having a big effect.

Really you have to be the judge. If its just light dust fingerprints or a smudge, any qd product will be good to use. If the car is hot to touch, I would be hesitant to qd the vehicle if your out in the sun.

I think that the culprit of the scratches or swirls is the car wash guy. Proper technique is the key.
